Spacious Family Lake & Ski House

The property itself is very nice, but the management, cleaning, and maintenance need improvement.The beach area is excellent, with plenty of kayaks, a water slide, trampoline, and a nice shallow area for younger kids. The golf cart is very helpful for getting back and forth, and the house is reasonably spacious.Unfortunately, communication with the host was poor. We messaged multiple times over several months asking to add a day to our reservation and received no response. When the host finally contacted us near check-in, they had missed those messages and there was no longer availability.We also spent a significant part of our first day dealing with issues that should have been caught before arrival: a mouse, a poorly cleaned bathroom, items left in the washer, strong smell in the laundry area, two clogged bathroom sinks, a flat golf-cart tire and an unreliable washing machineA local person did come to address several problems, and we were given another golf cart temporarily, which was appreciated. However, follow-through was inconsistent: some issues required repeat visits, the bathroom was not re-cleaned after we reported it, and we were not told the repaired golf cart was ready until the following morning. The host was out of the country but we could not contact the local person directly for faster support.There is a lot to like here, but the property needs more consistent cleaning, maintenance, communication, and responsive local management.

This house was perfect for our large family! The backyard is great for time around the fire and backyard games. Plenty of seating in the living room and dining room. The kitchen is well stocked. All of the essentials were in the house (towels, laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper). We had so much fun at the lake kayaking, swimming and playing on the inflatables.

The large house was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 8 adults, 6 children (ages 2-14) and dogs. The living room, game room and dining area had plenty of seating and open spacing for family time together. The outdoor space included a gas grill, a fire pit with lots of seating and a yard which allowed space for the kids to play. The lake was scenic and quiet. We made use of the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe. There were life jackets for all sizes. We all enjoyed the lake with the large dock, floating dock, water trampoline and aqua glide. The beach area allowed the little ones to walk right into the water and play, as well as jumping off the dock while exploring the small fish and frogs. We had fun in the golf cart, where we made trips to the waterfront and drove around the camp grounds. There were so many areas to hike and walk our dogs. Nick was helpful and responsive when we had questions. A great family vacation spot!
