Large, Comfy Family House w/ Lake & Beach access

The size of the home was ideal for our large adult family and grandchildren. The golf cart was a big hit as was the pond with its many toys and amenities. The home, itself, was clean, and as a bonus, Nick makes sure there are personal items in every bathroom in the event a toothbrush or razor is left at home. Tastefully decorated and furnished, it lends a feeling of home. We had a glitch with the outside grill, which was not in working order, but other than that, there were no other mishaps. The home sits in a beautiful and quiet spot, allowing opportunity to relax and enjoy family time.

We had an excellent stay and made some memories that'll last forever. The manager, Jesse, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We'd definitely stay again.

Host messaged me all I needed, nice place. It was pefect for our needs this winter, thinking it might even be better this summer. 10/10. No notes.(If you get the chance to stay here in the winter, if you get the chance, it's a gorgeous walk during the day.)

The host was attentive at first and replaced a very old air conditioner that broke (it was in very poor condition and should have been replaced a long time ago). The house had dirt in the couches and dead lady bugs by the windows, and mold on the AC units. The bathroom shower did not drain and had black on the grout. We had to purchase mattress toppers for the bed because they were so hard and springy we wouldn’t have been able to sleep on them. ( my dad is older and would have had to leave). The bed frames are make shift. The host did offer to send a cleaner back, but at that point it is awkward to have someone in the house with you so we took care of if ourselves. They did offer to pay us back for the mattress toppers but hasn’t responded since and I am hoping to get reimbursed. The pond is a decent distance from the house and the one golf cart provided was a little sketchy and loud (not idea for kids to ride on down the steep trail) Over all everything was a-little warn down, It was very over priced. If I had paid less for the stay I wouldn’t have been as disappointed / dissatisfied. But for the high price there is a certain expectation that comes with it that this home just did not meet.

Enjoyed the stay. Would do it again.
